About Me

Hi! I’m Jillian Marano PT, DPT and I am a pelvic floor physical therapist with a passion for making every patient feel strong and supported, no matter the phase of life.

I graduated from Manhattan College with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science before earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University.

My career began in orthopedics, a foundation that I believe has better allowed me to treat the whole person instead of just their pelvic floor. After struggling with my own pelvic pain symptoms, I became all too familiar with the difficulties many women face related to pelvic floor dysfunction. It was then that I decided to pursue training in pelvic floor therapy with Herman & Wallace, in order to better serve those facing similar struggles. My passion for women’s health only deepened in carrying and delivering my own 3 children.

Pelvic floor therapists often hear “Why didn’t anyone tell me?” or “I didn’t even know there was therapy for this”. I am here to help bridge that gap in women’s health for you. My mission is to guide and support women on their healing journey, provide them with the tools they need to take control of their symptoms, and leave them feeling empowered. So if you are feeling discouraged, unsupported or even a little lost - you’ve come to the right place. Let’s get started!
